Operating Principle
The system is specially designed to ensure an efficient combustion process. The operating principle of the system is as follows:
- Biogas is received from the anaerobic digestion system.
- Biogas is fed into a water trap system to increase its CH4 concentration before combustion, while also preventing flashback when the biogas is burned. In some specific cases, this device is replaced with a flashback arrestor.
- The biogas is dehumidified before being directed into the gas burner.
- The gas burner is designed with the following components: a temperature probe, a Biogas nozzle, and an igniter.
An electrical cabinet is installed to control the equipment, monitor its operational processes, and trigger an alarm in case of a system fault.
Additionally, the system is equipped with an emergency gas vent pipe.
The entire combustion process is fully automated and monitored by pressure sensors, temperature sensors, and solenoid valves.
